The City of Huntsville’s municipal offices will be closed for all non-essential personnel on New Year's Day, Friday, January 1, and reopen on Monday, January 4. Garbage Collection: No schedule change for the Christmas Holiday and New Year's period. Pickleball is a paddleball sport that combines elements of badminton, table tennis, and tennis. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, much like a whiffle ball, with 26-40 round holes, over a net.
