Asbestos Building Permit Approvals & Renovation/Demolition Notifications

Prior to renovation or demolition of any structure, installation, or building, an asbestos approval is required to obtain a building permit.  If load-bearing structures will be disturbed, a demolition and renovation notification is also required.  These requirements do not apply to residential structures or projects affecting four or fewer single-family dwelling units.
