Published on August 13, 2024
Get your glow on and join Huntsville Parks & Recreation for Light Up the Night on Friday, Aug. 16, from 6-9 p.m. in Big Spring Park.
Attracting thousands of revelers, this popular annual event includes live music, dancing and enchanting lighting throughout the park. Attendees can enjoy glow-in-the-dark face paint, engaging games and more.
At 7 p.m., the excitement ramps up with glow foam cannons, promising an unforgettable experience for all ages. The first 100 children will receive special light-up party favors.
“We were saddened that soggy ground conditions forced us to postpone the event from July 26, but we hope everyone will come out and join us on Friday,” said James Gossett, Huntsville Parks & Recreation Director. “This is one of our favorite events each year and we’re looking forward to a fun night.”
Concessions will be available for purchase from food trucks located along Church and Williams streets.
