Published on October 5, 2021
Weather permitting, Bob Wallace Avenue will be closed to through traffic at the railroad crossing at L&N Drive beginning 7 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6. During the closure, crews will replace the railroad tracks across Bob Wallace and construct a sidewalk and ramp at the intersection of Bob Wallace and L&N Drive.
Length of the closure will depend on the contractor’s timeline. Traffic control will be in place to detour traffic to Drake Avenue and Whitesburg Drive. L&N Drive will also remain open.
Businesses can be accessed from Merchants Walk, L&N Drive and Memorial Parkway access roads.
