Portion of Martin Road to temporarily close for bridge work

Weather permitting, starting 6 a.m. Saturday, March 13, 2021, contractors will temporarily close Martin Road between Williams Circle and Old Jim Williams Road for road work associated with the ongoing Martin Road construction project. The contractor anticipates reopening the road no later than noon Sunday, March 14, 2021.
Contractors will perform work at the bridge crossing along Betts Spring Branch. Martin Road will remain open on each side of the work area for access to local residences and businesses.
Traffic control will be in place to help detour motorists around the construction area. The detour route will be to Wall Triana Highway, Madison Boulevard and Zierdt Road. See attached map for more information. Drivers should use caution when traveling in the area and obey all traffic control signage.
