Temporary Multi-way Stop-Controlled Intersections: Holmes Ave NE & Lincoln St NE and Greene St NE & Holmes Ave NE

Weather permitting, beginning Friday, Feb. 5 at approximately 1 p.m., City of Huntsville Traffic Engineering will install new traffic signals and will modify the following intersections to operate as “All-Way” Stop Controlled Intersections:
- Holmes Ave NE & Lincoln St NE
- Greene St NE & Holmes Ave NE
The existing traffic signal will flash concurrently with the installed signage for a few days prior to the removal of the signals. The new traffic signal is anticipated to be complete within six weeks.
Motorists are advised to use caution and obey all traffic control signs and pavement markings. If further information is needed, please contact City of Huntsville Traffic Engineering at 256-427-6850.
