Huntsville gives final approval to three requested annexations

The City of Huntsville finalized approval of three requested annexations. The largest annexation is for 686.46 acres on the north side of Little Cove Road and on the east and west sides of U.S. 72 East. The City of Huntsville approved two contracts for roadwork projects in the first phase of the 2026 fiscal year resurfacing budget. Grayson Carter & Sons Contracting LLC was awarded the bid for residential street resurfacing for $2,925,660.
