ALDOT: Lane Closures on Highway 72 East

Starting on Monday, July 8, ALDOT and Madison County crews will be working on Hwy 72 East between Ryland Pike and Wall Road. The work is expected to last for about 3 weeks. Drivers should expect periodic lane closures and reduced speed limits in the area for the next few weeks. Both east and westbound traffic will be affected.

Madison County crews will be constructing an intersection at Highway 72 and the new Jordan Road Extension, as well as completing the Jordan Road roadway construction.

ALDOT will be performing work on the median near Dug Hill Road.
