Parks & Recreation offers one-week, half-day specialty camp programs during fall, winter, spring and summer breaks. Dates are subject to change based on decisions made by the Huntsville City Schools.

Camps are for Huntsville City students, grades 1-6. Half-day specialty camps cost $25 per week per student and $10 per week for each sibling.


HOW TO REGISTER

Registration is open now.

To begin the registration process, parents or guardians must create an online account through the Civic Rec platform. If you need assistance using this software, please view the tutorial.

Once you have created an account, browse through the Summer Camp offerings, make your selections and submit payment with a major credit card.

  • Little Picasso Art Camp I (Grades 1-3): June 9-13, 8:30 a.m. to noon, Optimist Recreation Center
  • Little Picasso Art Camp II (Grades 4-6): July 14-18, 8:30 a.m. to noon, Optimist Recreation Center
  • Food, Fun and Fitness Camp I (Grades 1-2): June 9-13, 8 a.m. to noon, Johnson Legacy Center
  • Food, Fun and Fitness Camp II (Grades 3-4): June 23-27, 8 a.m. to noon, Johnson Legacy Center
  • Food, Fun and Fitness Camp III (Grades 5-6): July 7-11, 8 a.m. to noon, Johnson Legacy Center
