Celebrating Education Parade to bring temporary road closures in north Huntsville
August 20, 2026The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) advises drivers to expect temporary road closures and traffic delays in north Huntsville on Saturday, Aug. 22, during the 2026 Celebrating Education Parade. August 20, 2026The Huntsville Police Department’s (HPD) Summer Slowdown traffic safety initiative ended Friday, July 31, following more than two months of emphasis on enforcement and public safety efforts across Huntsville that saw a significant drop in traffic fatalities.
