It’s still hot in Huntsville but the fall season is right around the corner, making now the perfect time to explore Huntsville Parks & Recreation’s 2026 Fall Program Guide.

The seasonal guide features more than 150 free activities and special events designed to help residents make the most of the fall months. Offerings include strength and wellness programs, athletics, arts activities, outdoor recreation and family-friendly community events.

The guide also includes a spooktacular list of free, family-friendly Halloween events across Huntsville in the month of October.

“Fall is a great time to get outside, explore the parks and enjoy everything Parks & Recreation has to offer,” said Director James Gossett. “We’re especially looking forward to this year’s lineup of fall festivals and events, along with the many programs and activities that give residents plenty of ways to stay active and connected throughout the season.”

Programs and events take place at parks, recreation centers and community spaces across Huntsville, giving residents opportunities to explore different amenities and activities throughout the city.
