Arrests Made in Thursday Night Kangaroo Robbery

Huntsville Police Department Robbery Investigators have charged two men, 22 year old Dimari Thomas and 24 year old Kristopher Williams, with Robbery.  The arrests stem from the Thursday night armed robbery of the Kangaroo convenient store at Jordan Lane and Holmes Avenue.  Both men are being held in the Madison County Jail.

 

Officers responded to a robbery call at the Kangaroo around 9:00 p.m. last night.  Two men wearing masks robbed the store at gunpoint before running from the area on foot.  Witnesses saw the two men get into a car in the area of Jack Coleman Drive.  Officers in the area stopped the car and recovered the money taken as well as the masks and the guns used.  Both men were arrested and charged with Robbery.
