Huntsville Police arrested 38 yr. old Brian Andre Simpson tonight regarding a 2017 shooting. He is charged with murder and assault 1st. The murder victim, 26 yr. old Ladarius Turner, was shot along with a second victim, Cordarryl Toney, on Brookmanor Dr. in Huntsville on May 31st, 2017.

Simpson and another unknown offender went into a garage at 3010 Brook Manor at the residence of Toney.  Toney was in the garage playing video games with Turner and another male, Montez Holt. The two offenders got into an argument with Toney.  Toney told the offenders to leave. Guns were drawn and shots fired. Toney was shot several times which paralyzed him and Holt was shot with non-life threatening  injuries. Simpson was apprehended several weeks after the shooting in Huntsville on a routine traffic stop in Conners Georgia. Simpson was arrested and charged with gun and drug charges in that Ga. case. He was extradited today where the warrants for murder and assault 1st were served at the Madison County Jail.
