Death Investigation

Just before 7:00 a.m. today, Huntsville Police responded to the 400 block of Williams Street after receiving a call about a possible body found at that location.

Construction workers discovered the body upon their arrival to work. HPD Investigators confirmed there was a male that appeared to be in his 20s located outside of a nearby building. Investigators believe this to be an isolated incident, as drugs were found on the scene.

At this time, we are awaiting an exact cause of death pending an autopsy. Investigators are working to notify the deceased’s next of kin.
