Fiber Installation Check-in from Huntsville Utilities

An update from Huntsville Utilities on Fiber Build-Out:

Huntsville Utilities continues to build fiber in Southeast Huntsville and currently has completed construction to more than 4,500 residences and small businesses which have been turned over to Google fiber to service.

Google fiber is currently installing network equipment along with performing initial network testing before fiber services will be available.

All potential customers can visit the Google Fiber website, to view service availability in their area.

Interested parties can also pre-sign up for services on this website and when Google fiber services become available, they will receive notification via email.

Huntsville utilities would like to remind all residences and small businesses that their timeline for completed construction is not in coordination with Google fiber availability, Google fiber’s timeline for network availability will be announced independently from Huntsville Utilities.
