Huntsville Parks & Recreation collects warm coats for Cozy Care Holiday Drive

The Parks & Recreation department, in collaboration with Christmas Charities Year Round, is hosting the Cozy Care Holiday Drive from now to Dec. 8. The initiative provides coats and gloves to those in need for the chilly seasons.

Those wishing to donate should place their clean and wearable coats, hats and gloves in designated boxes conveniently located in the lobby of Huntsville recreation centers. All sizes are accepted.

Please refrain from leaving donations at the door or other locations at recreation centers.

“We’re looking forward to supporting this project for a second year,” said Parks & Recreation Director James Gossett. “This is a great opportunity for community members to get involved and give back.”
