Huntsville Police seek additional witnesses in fatal shooting investigation

Published on March 6, 2025

The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) seeks additional witnesses who may have information about a fatal shooting that occurred on Monday, March 3, at 240 Martin Road.

A Huntsville man was arrested and charged with murder following the incident, but investigators believe other individuals might have relevant information or security camera footage that could further assist in the case. There are no other outstanding suspects or persons of interest currently, and there is no danger to the community.

“An arrest has been made, but our work is not done,” HPD Police Chief Kirk Giles said. “If you saw or heard something that could help, please come forward. Even small details can make a difference.”

Anyone with information can contact HPD Investigator Jeremy Woods at 256-746-4136. To provide an anonymous tip, call 256-532-7463 or submit information to Huntsville Area Crimestoppers at 53-CRIME.
