Huntsville residents have until Aug. 12 to register for municipal election

Huntsville residents who plan to vote in the upcoming municipal election have until Monday, Aug. 12, to register or update their information.
Only voters in Districts 1 and 5 will cast ballots for City Council and Huntsville City School Board. Mayor Tommy Battle, who had no opposition at the candidate qualifying deadline, was declared the winner by the City Council on June 27.
Those needing to register, update their information or confirm their registration can visit MadisonCountyVotes.com.
