Nominations now open for 2026 Huntsville Beautification Awards

Huntsville’s Beautification Board is now accepting nominations for the 2026 Huntsville Beautification Awards. The deadline to submit the entry form and $50 fee for each property nominated is Friday, April 10, 2026.
Beautification awards recognize commercial, business and government properties that enhance Huntsville’s appearance through thoughtful landscape design and consistent maintenance.
Properties are evaluated from the curb, with emphasis on first impressions, design, plant health and variety, maintenance, hardscape condition, safety and litter control. Exceptional properties may also be considered for Special District Awards or the Mayor’s Award, which recognize outstanding achievement in beautification.
Judging will take place after Memorial Day using the 2026 Huntsville Beautification Awards Judging Standards.
Eligibility
City of Huntsville-licensed commercial, business or government properties within the city limits, and at least one-year-old, are eligible to be nominated. Properties that currently hold a Beautification Award must reapply to be considered for a 2026 award.
How to Apply
You can submit payment through PayPal on the digital nominations or via check mailed to P.O. Box 738, Huntsville, AL 35804. Make checks payable to the Huntsville Beautification Board. For landscapers, a current copy of the business license is also required and may be uploaded with the entry form. Only one copy of the license per landscaper is needed.
