The Huntsville High School Band will play on the lawn outside City Hall just prior to the meeting from 5-5:25 p.m. Local performer Dani Caines will perform “The Star-Spangled Banner” in the 1st Floor Chambers of City Hall shortly after the meeting starts at 5:30.

It’s the second year City Council has hosted performances during its September meetings in recognition of Huntsville Music Month.

Music Officer Matt Mandrella said he appreciates Council’s support of Huntsville’s diverse music ecosystem, from students to professionals. Performers will receive a special recognition at the meeting.

“It doesn’t matter if your stage is at one of Huntsville’s many great venues or on a football field on Friday nights, we want to recognize and support our dynamic music-makers,” he said. “I appreciate the Council spotlighting these talented performers.”
