Council Member John Meredith attended the ribbon cutting for the exterior portion of the Public Safety Training Academy, facilities that will enhance the preparation of first responders to serve the residents of Huntsville. Specific training areas are included for both police and fire cadets in the $18.6 million project and complements classroom training cadets receive at the academy on the same campus.
