The free 805 After Five concert series wraps up its 2026 season Thursday, October 15 with Jackie Venson and the Otis Walker Band. The season finale takes place from 5-9 p.m. at Butler Green at Campus No. 805.
“We’re closing out the 805 After Five season with an incredible lineup of talent that brings together standout touring artists from Austin and Huntsville,” said Huntsville Music Officer Matt Mandrella. “Jackie Venson is epic and as good as it gets as both a guitarist and vocalist. The Otis Walker Band is the perfect pairing for this finale. It’s going to be a very special night of free live music.”
Austin, Texas, native Jackie Venson blends blues, rock and soul with powerful vocals and electrifying guitar work. She appeared as a featured artist on the Austin City Limits television series on PBS and performed at Rolling Stone’s Future of Music showcase at SXSW in 2024, highlighting her as one of the emerging artists shaping the direction of contemporary music. Her energy is contagious, and audiences quickly see why she’s a standout artist wherever she plays.
Opening the evening, the Otis Walker Band brings warm vocals, an easygoing style of blues and a familiar connection with Huntsville audiences that makes the group a local favorite in venues and headlining festival stages.
Hosted in partnership with Campus No. 805 and Downtown Huntsville, Inc., this finale offers a relaxed atmosphere that has made 805 After Five a favorite Thursday night tradition. With the season wrapping up, this show gives the community a chance to gather once more and enjoy live music in one of Huntsville’s favorite outdoor spaces.
Guests are invited to settle in with lawn chairs, explore the wide range of food and drink options available for purchase from Campus No. 805 businesses and enjoy an evening that celebrates the city’s creative spirit and growing music culture.
