Washington Street Park – the City’s first micro park – is open.  The park is located at the end of the alley behind UG White and Pints & Pixels.

The Poarch Band of Creek Indians has established PCI Aviation, a government contracting firm supporting Army Aviation.

More hotel rooms

Town Place Suites at Redstone Gateway is open. The $12 million hotel is owned by the Poarch Band of Creek Indians and managed by local firm Yedla Management Company.

SouthPoint Industrial Park in Huntsville is now certified by AT&T as a Fiber Ready site.

Huntsville Hospital grows

Huntsville Hospital has opened an employee clinic in Cummings Research Park for area companies.
