Blossomwood Elementary Investigation

An arrest warrant was obtained and served today on Letroy Cole Jr. The investigation stemmed from the accidental discharge yesterday at Blossomwood Elementary. The investigation led HPD investigators to obtain evidence that the firearm was originally possessed by the student’s father, Letroy Cole Jr. He is being charged with Receiving Stolen Property 4th ( Al. code: 13A-8-19) and Certain Persons Forbidden to Possess a Pistol (Al. code: 13A-11-72). The Certain Persons charge is the unlawful act of possessing a firearm as a convicted felon. Letroy Cole Jr. has been booked into the Madison County Metro jail on a $15,000 dollar bond.
