City of Huntsville announces unofficial results of District 3 City Council runoff election

The City of Huntsville announced unofficial results for the District 3 City Council runoff municipal election on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
Unofficial results:
*Jennie Robinson – 3,773 (52.35%)
Liliana Peinder – 3,434 (47.65%)
Voter turnout in the runoff was 19.87%.
Election results will be certified by the City Council at a special session at noon on Tuesday, Sept. 29, in Council Chamber in Huntsville City Hall, 305 Fountain Circle.
