City of Huntsville, City of Madison and Madison County will remain closed on Wednesday, Jan. 17

Icy, hazardous road conditions and frigid cold temperatures will persist through Wednesday, prompting the City of Huntsville, City of Madison and Madison County government operations to remain closed on Jan. 17.

This includes the Madison County Courthouse, City of Huntsville Municipal Court, and all government offices, services and facilities.

Huntsville Transit will not run Orbit busses, but Access will continue to handle dialysis patients.  Madison County TRAM will be closed.

Residents may expect delays in garbage collection for the remainder of the week. Place your trash can curbside on your regularly scheduled day and leave it in place until crews can pick-up.
