Color Run Event

Huntsville Police Department Shield

The Color Run will take place Saturday September 3rd in the downtown area.  The event will start in waves at 8:00 a.m. with the last wave of participants leaving the starting area no later than 9:00 a.m.

 

The event is expected to draw 3,000-4,000 participants and will create heavy congestion in the downtown area.  Some streets may be closed during the event, but alternate routes will be designated to allow full access to the downtown area.  Anyone traveling in the area is asked to use caution and expect delays.  The event will stage at Lot K on Clinton Avenue, and Woodson Street along with Lot K will be closed from 1:00 p.m. Friday September 2nd, until the conclusion of the event.

 

The course is as follows:

Begin on Woodson Street traveling north
East then north on Holmes Avenue
East and then south on Monroe Street
East on Holmes Avenue
South on Steele Street
West on Clinton Avenue
North on Lincoln Street
West on Holmes Avenue
South on Jefferson/Madison Street
West on Manning Drive
North on Gallatin Street
West on Williams Avenue
North on Monroe Street
West on Holmes Avenue
South on Woodson Street ending in Lot K
