Community warming center extends hours due to dangerously cold temperatures

The Community Warming Center at The Livin’ Room (2820 Governors Drive SW) will extend its hours of operation to 9 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, as dangerously cold weather continues to impact the area.

Huntsville Transit will provide free rides to and from the warming center. Transit operates Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Huntsville Police will also transport individuals to the warming center outside Huntsville Transit operating hours.
