Free Fitness in the Park Classes with Healthy Huntsville Start Saturday, May 1

Published on April 28, 2021

Spring is here and Healthy Huntsville is ready to get outside and exercise! 2021 brings a new group of instructors and classes to the annual Fitness in the Park program. Join us each Saturday in May and June at 9 a.m. for a FREE one-hour group fitness class in Big Spring Park.

“The City of Huntsville is excited to continue Fitness in the Park, offering a variety of group classes that provide benefits for your physical and mental health,” said Mayor Tommy Battle. “Big Spring Park provides a beautiful location with plenty of room for participants to spread out and be socially distant.”

Each class will challenge participants in different ways and can be modified to a personal comfort level. Classes are designed for participants age 16+, and any minors attending must be accompanied by an adult. Family Yoga is for ages 3+.

In the event of rain, classes will take place under the portico behind Huntsville Utilities.
