Healthy Huntsville offering free “Good Nutrition for Busy People” classes starting March 5

Join Healthy Huntsville and Huntsville Hospital Wellness Centers in March for three opportunities to participate in a one-hour nutrition class.

Mayor Tommy Battle’s Healthy Huntsville initiative is offering three free nutrition classes over the next two weeks.

On March 5, 10 and 11, citizens are invited to attend a “Good Nutrition for Busy People” hour-long class taught by Juliana Wright, RDN, LD. These classes are a partnership between Healthy Huntsville and Huntsville Hospital Wellness Centers.

The classes are targeted to those individuals with busy schedules, offering healthy restaurant/fast food options and meal/snack preparation ideas. Children ages 12 and older are welcome to join with an adult.

Classes will take place on the following dates:

  • Thursday, March 5 – Noon – Jones Valley Wellness Center, 1345 4 Mile Post Road SE
  • Tuesday, March 10 – 5:30 p.m. – Medical Mall Wellness Center, 1963 Memorial Pkwy SW
  • Wednesday, March 11 – Noon – Madison Hospital Wellness Center, 8391 US-72
