HPD Special Victim’s Unit Arrest

The Huntsville Police Special Victim’s Investigative Unit arrested 39 yr old Ioan Adrian Cojocaru on Nov 11th for Sexual Abuse 1st Degree. Cojocaru was a licensed massage therapist from Florence, AL that also works in Huntsville. The arrest stems from an October investigation where an adult female alleged he had inappropriate contact with her while receiving a massage. An investigation was done by HPD and the Alabama Board of Massage Therapy which resulted in an arrest and the surrender of his license.
Another female contacted HPD since that time and has also stated she had a similar experience with inappropriate contact by Cojocaru as well, while receiving a massage in January of this year. This second victim did not want to make an official report.
