Huntsville Animal Services to host open house for potential foster parents

Published on July 28, 2021

Adopting a dog is a long-term commitment, which is why fostering can sometimes be a better fit for both the person and the pooch.

Huntsville Animal Services (HAS) will hold an open house from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 31, for those interested in meeting dogs in need of foster care.

Those who attend the free session will learn more about the City’s foster program and participate in a brief orientation on what to expect. Dogs of all sizes and personalities will be available to greet potential foster parents.

HAS is located at 4950 Triana Boulevard in Huntsville. Call 256-883-3783, visit HuntsvilleAL.gov/Animal or check us out on Facebook to learn more.
