Huntsville approves construction contract for Orion Amphitheater parking deck

Construction will begin soon on the new parking deck at The Orion Amphitheater after the City approved a construction contract with Thrash Commercial Contractors Inc. The contract is for $32,950,000.
The facility will have 924 parking spaces and be built across Amphitheater Drive from The Orion.
The four-story parking deck will include three elevators and stair lobbies, decorative metal façade panels and surrounding landscaping. Construction is expected to be completed in April 2028.
The new garage will increase parking capacity for concerts and events at The Orion, improve traffic flow, and support continued development in the surrounding MidCity District area.
