Huntsville approves resurfacing contracts for more than 50 streets

The City of Huntsville approved two contracts for roadwork projects in the first phase of the 2026 fiscal year resurfacing budget.

Grayson Carter & Sons Contracting LLC was awarded the bid for residential street resurfacing for $2,925,660. Lambert Contracting LLC will handle concrete and ADA upgrades under a contract worth $3,862,950.

More than 50 residential streets are included in the first phase.

The City has increased its resurfacing budget for 2026 by $500,000 to more than $18.8 million.
