Aimed at energizing the City’s young professionals, 805 After Five will feature a free concert by a touring act. Artist lineups will be released prior to the concert each month.

The Lemon Twigs kick off the first event on May 16. The Long Island indie-rock band will perform tracks from their album, “A Dream Is All We Know,” set to release on May 3. The Lemon Twigs have received national attention, performing on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and “CBS This Morning.” Opening for The Lemon Twigs is Crystal Egg, an up-and-coming indie band.

Besides live music, attendees can check out vendor booths and enjoy yard games and concessions available for purchase.

“We are thrilled to introduce 805 After Five to the Huntsville community,” said Rob Buddo, President and CEO of Downtown Huntsville, Inc. “This event series embodies our commitment to fostering a vibrant downtown environment where people can come together to enjoy great music, delicious food and exciting activities, all while celebrating the lively atmosphere of West Huntsville and Butler Green.”

Subsequent events will be June 20, July 18, Aug. 15, Sept. 19 and Oct. 17.
