Huntsville Music Office to host Quarterly Music Meetup, release results from recent music audit

Published on

The Huntsville Music Office will host its next Quarterly Music Meetup on Tuesday, July 28, from 6-8 p.m. at Mars Music Hall, offering residents, musicians and industry partners the first public look at findings from the City’s updated music audit.

The comprehensive audit, conducted by Sound Diplomacy, examines the progress of Huntsville’s music ecosystem over the past several years and outlines recommendations to guide the next phase of growth.

The meetup will feature a presentation of key data and progress areas highlighted in the audit, as well as a celebration of the achievements driven by Huntsville’s music community, venues and creative partners.

“Huntsville’s music ecosystem continues to evolve because of the talent, collaboration and commitment found across our community,” said Huntsville Music Officer Matt Mandrella. “This updated audit shows that our investments in artists, venues and partnerships are paying off. Sharing these results with the public is an important step as we work together to shape the next chapter of Huntsville’s music story.”

The Quarterly Music Meetup is free to attend and open to the public. Musicians, industry professionals, venue operators and residents interested in Huntsville’s creative economy are encouraged to join, connect and learn more about the City’s forward momentum.
