#LitterFreeHSV: Two chances to ‘keep Huntsville beautiful’ this weekend

Keep Huntsville beautiful and green! Volunteers are encouraged to pitch in Saturday, Feb. 3, at two cleanup opportunities hosted by Green Team. Events will be held for the Archer Park and Terry Heights communities. Both cleanups last from 9-11 a.m. Those attending the Terry Heights Cleanup Day should meet at Meadow Drive Baptist Church, 1000 Meadow Drive.

“We need a whole village to create a litter free community,” said Green Team Coordinator David Worley. “Driving through town, all you see is beautiful nature and our growing City. The lack of litter can literally make our everyday lives better!”

Green Team will provide all supplies, including trash bags, litter sticks and safety vests.

All ages are welcome, and no experience is required – just bring your helping hands and the drive to create a #LitterFreeHSV.
