Madison Teen Killed in Traffic Accident

Huntsville Police are investigating an accident that happened shortly before 10:00 p.m. last night on Wall Triana Hwy. near Dunlop Blvd.  The accident claimed the life of 16 year old Tyrone Pointer of Madison.

The teen was traveling south on Wall Triana Blvd. on a motorcycle and collided with a car that was traveling north and attempting a left turn.  According to witnesses, it appears the headlight on the motorcycle was not on or not functioning at the time of the accident.  The accident is still under investigation, but at this time charges are not expected to be filed against the driver of the car.
