Update: Major Crimes Unit Investigators charged 20-year-old Dekevion Williams with murder on Monday, Feb. 13.

A follow-up investigation led to the identification of Williams as a second suspect in the Friday, Jan. 13, deadly shooting on Newson Road. No additional individuals are wanted.

The investigation continues, and no further information is available at this time.


The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) has charged Anfernee Bradley, 24, with murder following a shooting incident on Friday, Jan. 13.

HPD officers responded to the 3900 block of Newson Road and found Joshua Turney, 33, with life-threatening injuries. Turney died at the hospital on Saturday, Jan. 14, from his injuries.

HPD Major Crimes Unit Investigators believe the shooting incident was drug-related.

Bradley was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force shortly after 3 pm. Tuesday afternoon.

Bradley is currently being booked into the Madison County Jail on the listed charge. The case remains under investigation, and no further information is available at this time.
