Missing Something for Christmas? Fee-Waived Pet Adoption Event

Published on December 17, 2017

Missing Something Pet Adoption Special

Huntsville Animal Services has many adoptable dogs and cats that would love to be in a good home before the Christmas holiday.

If a family is thinking of adding a pet as a holiday gift, it’s best to have the pet in the family home several days before Christmas morning festivities. Pets need time to adjust to a new environment.

To help our animals transition into their new families, the Shelter’s dogs and cats will be available free of charge beginning Monday, Dec. 18 through Wednesday, Dec. 20.

In this season of giving, each adopting family may also receive a free gift to help care for their pet, while supplies last, when adopting a special dog, cat, puppy or kitten during our Dec. 18-20 special. Each adoption will include the same amenities as a regular adoption package, which is rabies vaccination, microchip, spay or neuter surgery, and heartworm test. Restrictions may apply on some pets.

Visit us at the Animal Shelter, 4950 Triana Boulevard, 35805. Adoption hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The shelter is closed on Sundays and recognized holidays.

Watch for our “Subaru Share the Love” fee-waived pet adoption event on Thursday and Friday, December 21 and 22.
