Nominate your yard or even a neighbor’s yard to participate in the competition. Three yards will be recognized for awards: Best Landscaping, Most Captivating Floral Display and Best Curb Appeal. Nominations are open now and will close July 31.

“The real winners are all of District 1,” Keith said. “With everyone working to make their yard look the best, it will be a pleasure for visitors and residents to enjoy all of the beautiful yards and make our city look even more spectacular.”

To submit entries, complete the nomination form. Those who receive awards will take home prizes and a complimentary yard sign designating their title.

Winners selected by a committee of City leaders will be contacted in mid-August. The City Council will recognize each homeowner at a public meeting later that month.

If you’re interested in partnering with the Council Office on A Cut Above, please email HsvCityCouncil@HuntsvilleAL.gov or call 256-427-5011.
