Prepare to Vote! Municipal Elections on Tuesday, August 23

The City of Huntsville’s municipal elections are coming up Tuesday, August 23. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The election includes races for Huntsville’s Mayor, City Council Members and School Board Members for Districts 1 and 5. A sample ballot is attached.

Verify your voter registration, voting district, and locate a polling place by visiting madisoncountyvotes.com.

Absentee ballots submitted by mail must be postmarked by August 22 and received by noon the day of the election. Hand-delivered absentee ballots (by the voter) must be returned to the City Clerk Treasurer’s office no later than 5 p.m., Monday, August 22. Free parking is available in front of Municipal Building.
