Traffic Alert: Rocket City Marathon

The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) will be assisting with traffic control for the Rocket City Marathon on Sunday, Dec. 11.

HPD Officers will be posted along the route to help runners make it safely through the course. Road closures will start at 5 a.m. The northbound and southbound exits ramps from Memorial Parkway to Clinton Avenue and the eastbound exit ramp from Interstate 565 to Old Madison Pike will be closed.

Please use caution and expect delays if traveling through the areas. All races are expected to conclude by 1 p.m.
