Youth Softball & Baseball Registration Now Open

The City of Huntsville’s Parks & Recreation department offers youth recreation softball and baseball for the spring sports season. These programs are a wonderful way to start your child in a new sport or play in a less competitive level of baseball/softball.

Baseball ages are 5-13 years old, with 14-18 years old running in conjunction with Babe Ruth Baseball, Inc. Softball ages are 5-18 years old and run entirely through Parks & Recreation. Individual league directors can provide details on cost, which varies by sport and league.

Guardians can register players in person on Saturday, February 29, and Saturday, March 7, at their league’s local park or recreation center. Many leagues also offer online registration.
