The Huntsville Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit has charged Otis Mayes, 27 of Boaz, with two counts of Capital Murder following two overnight shootings.   Officers responded to a shooting call in the 1000 block of Windham Street around 9pm last night.  When they arrived they found a 77 year old female suffering from a gunshot wound.  She was transported to the hospital where she died a short time later.   While still investigating [more]
