Three juveniles charged in Powell Drive homicide
March 11, 2026The Huntsville Police Department’s (HPD) Major Crimes Unit has charged three juveniles in connection with a homicide that occurred on Feb. 19 in the 5000 block of Powell Drive. Officers responded to the area around 4:15 p.m. after receiving reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a 17-year-old victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
