HPD celebrates 10 promotions, strengthening leadership for a safer Huntsville

Family, colleagues and community members gathered to celebrate the accomplishments of the department’s newest leaders, who together represent decades of service and a continued commitment to public safety in the City of Huntsville.

Promotions included:

Sergeant

  • William Cunningham
  • Leah Henry
  • Hayden McMahon
  • Patrick Williams

Lieutenant

  • Gerald Gambino
  • Sabin Troncone
  • Jefford Wright
  • Yuliya Zaremba

Captain

  • Ricky Stephens
  • Scott Widner

“These individuals have demonstrated exceptional leadership, integrity and dedication to the Huntsville Police Department,” said Chief Kirk Giles. “We’re proud to see them take the next step in their careers and continue serving our community with excellence.”

HPD extends its congratulations to all honorees and thanks them for their ongoing service to the residents of Huntsville.
