The Huntsville Music Office and Downtown Huntsville, Inc. are excited to announce the full 2026 artist lineup for the 805 After Five concert series.
The free outdoor music series returns to Butler Green at Campus No. 805 every third Thursday from May through October, offering a dynamic mix of national touring acts and standout local talent.
This year’s season kicks off Thursday, May 21, with Motherfolk, a Cincinnati-based band compared to My Morning Jacket and known for their explosive, emotional performances. Opening the night is Huntsville favorite Them Damn Dogs, a longtime local staple celebrated for their punchy indie‑rock sound.
The 2026 season marks the beginning of a new partnership with Resound Presents as talent buyer for the series, helping to bring an exciting new wave of nationally emerging artists to Huntsville.
“805 After Five has become one of the most exciting live music traditions in Huntsville, and the 2026 season features our strongest lineup yet,” said Matt Mandrella. “The continued growth and energy surrounding the series is helping us attract nationally acclaimed artists to Huntsville, and we’re honored these performers are choosing to share their music with our community.”
Each month brings a new featured artist:
- June 18 – Lindsay Lou: A genre‑blending Bluegrass, Americana and Folk artist praised for her soulful vocals and masterful songwriting.
- July 16 – Susannah Joffe: A rising indie‑pop storyteller whose sharp, expressive style has quickly gained national attention.
- Aug. 20 – The Bends: A fast-rising Baton Rouge-based alternative/indie rock band playing Lollapalooza just a few weeks before their Huntsville debut.
- Sept. 17 – Ripe: A vibrant, horn‑driven pop‑funk group known for electric crowd energy and dance‑ready anthems.
- Oct. 15 – Jackie Venson: A celebrated blues‑rock guitarist and vocalist whose fiery musicianship continues to earn widespread acclaim and has heralded her as one of “Austin’s rising stars” by Rolling Stone.
In addition to live music, concertgoers can enjoy food trucks, craft beverages and the lively community atmosphere that has made 805 After Five one of Huntsville’s most anticipated recurring events.
All shows are free and open to the public. Music begins at 6 p.m. and runs through 9 p.m.
