District 3 City Council runoff election is Sept. 22; polls open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The City of Huntsville will hold a runoff municipal election for the District 3 City Council seat on Tuesday, Sept. 22. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Election results will be updated online in real-time. The City Council will certify the runoff election results at a special session on Tuesday, Sept. 29, at noon in City Hall Council Chamber.
Sample ballots can be viewed on the City’s website. Absentee ballots must be hand-delivered to the City Clerk’s office in City Hall by 5 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 21. Mailed-in absentee ballots must be postmarked by Sept. 21.
Voters can confirm their voting status and poll location by visiting the Alabama Secretary of State website.
