Arrest Made Following Saturday Shooting Death

Huntsville Police Department Major Crimes Investigators have charged Isaiah DeShawn Emory, 20 and Terrien Bone, 21 both of Huntsville, with Murder following a shooting in the area of Joy Circle.    

 

Officers received a call around 7:30 p.m. Saturday October 28, 2017, for a subject laying in the road in the 4700 Block of Joy Circle.  When they arrived they found James Jones, 26 of Huntsville, laying in the road suffering from gunshot wounds.  Mr. Jones was pronounced dead at the scene.  The investigation revealed that the shooting stemmed from a drug deal gone bad in the 4200 block of Keith Street.  The victim was transported in the offenders car and dropped on Joy Circle.  Emory and Bone have both been charged with Murder.  The investigation is ongoing and investigators are not releasing any further details at this time.
